It has been quite some time since I made the effort to post something on the site. The last few months have been very busy with work an hobbies and I am almost surprised that it is nearly the end of August – that means the year is slowly coming to a close! Apart from lots of Golf I have developed a new hobby, online computer gaming, thanks to my nephew who got me started with Minecraft. After spending quite a bit of time messing around with this particular game I have upgraded to play Warcraft and I think I am now hooked
I have been playing so much I have had little time for much of anything else and it does have a negative in lack of sleep – as the saying goes “time flies when you are having fun” and I often end up in bed much too late. I have also invested in some new furniture for online gaming specifically to increase my desk size and ensure I can fit my computer and my work.
When it comes to PC hardware I have spent quite a bit so far and I do feel a little bit guilty as I have probably slightly overdone it! There are so many choices when it comes to cool gaming hardware that it becomes easy to keep buying stuff. Powerful computer specs, combined with decent graphics capabilities make the perfect environment for successful gaming. This, of course, does not include my 32″ HD screen and my new computer gaming desk!
If you are thinking of having a go and getting started then make sure you have the time and the capital to sustain your new habit or you will find yourself in trouble rather quickly. I think playing computer games over the internet has become so popular these days as you can partake in an unlimited amount of games against different opponents. This makes it both fun and challenging.
I don’t really have much else to report, I do plan on getting back home to Swaziland at some point to visit with the family and take a small break. I think it will do me some good to get out in the fresh air and spend some with nature. All this time indoors staring at computer screens (for both work and my new found hobby) are not doing my health (or fitness levels) any good at all! I may even have to look getting onto a small diet soon to reduce some of the weight I have picked up. Getting out of the city is very important in keeping yourself healthy and free from depression! I will update soon with new on my planned break and what I will be up to.
